Tool 7 question 2

  1. Post the following about the project:
    1. Content objectiveGiven a pedometer the student will monitor the number of steps they take in the fitness stations activity (this can be used with any activity…even running on the track) and use the information to understand the benefits of staying active throughout each day by giving the teacher thumbs up or down when she/he calls out an examples of behaviors that are active and non active with 100%
      accuracy.
    2. When you plan to implement-October
    3. What tool(s) you plan to use-pedometors/google docs
    4. A brief description of the project (plan - two or three sentences)-After tracking the fourth graders "steps" using pedometors the students will input their "number of steps" into a google docs excel spread sheet. When all classes are done we will look at the average number of steps taken by all the kids in fourth grade to document the high, average, and low range of "number of steps" needed to be active each day. Only scores will be used-no names will be shown on the spread sheet.
    5. If you need to find another classroom - We can begin networking with other classrooms right here! I can use the classrooms that come to me and share this information with each class
